This has been an amazing little model!
Originally designed as a simple, static model, hundreds have been sold around the world with the majority being built as electric powered, radio controlled models.
Some are truly ‘fast electrics’.

The version shown alongside was made by Ernie Lazenby and I think it was the first model to be converted.
I first saw it running at the Windermere show where it practically jumped out of the pool!
It later ran on the lake too.
It was quite a show stopper!.
The one alongside was built by Chris Scott and looks and goes really well.
Dave Abbot reviewed the kit for Model Boats magazine a couple of years ago. You can read the review by clicking on the link. The model has camptured K7 very well and even though its a simple kit, has got great appeal. Many have been built into really lovely models.
